Crunchy Roasted Chickpeas

A crunchy, golden snack, brought to us by BE’s Michelle Rojo, that is filled with fiber-goodness and can be flavored any way YOU like it.

Garlic powder, Jerk seasonings, Susan Maria’s Cancun Chili Mix…maybe even Splenda and cinnamon – you’re the Chef!!

One 14-ounce can of chickpeas (garbanzo beans) drained
Drizzle of oil (olive, sesame, peanut, walnut…)
Salt
Spices of your choice

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Combine drained beans, oil, salt, and spices, if using in a bowl. Spread, in a single layer, on a baking sheet. Bake, shaking or stirring occasionally, for 45 minutes or until golden-brown and toasted.
